Hawksnest Beach, Virgin Islands National Park

#3 of 27 in Nature in U.S. Virgin Islands
Must see · Water Body · Beach
Relax and unwind on Hawksnest Beach, a quiet strip of sand offering extensive views of the bay. Popular mainly with local families, the beach remains more peaceful than many others on the island. Sunbathe on the fine white sand and take a dip in the clear blue waters. Because it is slightly more exposed than other beaches, expect some surf here and use caution when swimming or snorkeling with little children. The sea grape trees provide ample shade to get away from the blistering sun. • A lot of rocks close to shore but still an AMAZING place to snorkel. So many fish and reef to see. The water is clear as glass and beautiful.
  • Beautiful beach, what more can I say.
