An imposing landmark of the capital Monument Arch of Neutrality, stands as an impressive three-legged white tower glorifying the essence of Turkmenistan's complex policy. Topped by a gilt 12 m (39 ft) statue of the country's first president, this 95 m (312 ft) tall structure is set in a white marble town in a picturesque park. The popular Tripod features an observation deck at 45 m (148 ft) from where you can get panoramic views of the city. There is a museum with a collection of state gifts presented to the President Saparmurat Niyazov. Observe the changing of guards at the foot of the tower.
