Admire the impressive marble-plated pillar with gilded ornaments of Independence Monument. The site stands 118 m (387 ft) tall in National Independence Park. Covering an area of over 80,000 sq m (861,113 sq ft) and inspired by traditional Turkmen tents, the monument has five main entrances guarded by statues of Turkmen warrior heroes. Inside the building, there are exhibition halls featuring artwork related to history of Turkmenistan. The monument is surrounded by greenery and a cascade pool.     Super clean and super nice view at night. If you are lucky you get to see them change guard shift which is amazingly unique.
