#1 of 44 in Things to do in Kemer
Historic Site · Tourist Spot
Situated between beaches and mountains completely immersed in greenery, Phaselis presents the crumbling remains of what was once an important harbor for the region. Merchants from Greece, Egypt, and Asian countries used it for commerce from the 7th century BCE. As you walk along its 24 m (79 ft) wide central street, you'll encounter ruins of ancient perfumeries and other stores, plus structures that housed lavish Roman baths, and theaters more than two millennia old. You'll also find forgotten artifacts and sarcophagi here. If the weather's right, you may want to refresh yourself in the sea right next to the ancient city. Our Kemer trip planner makes visiting Phaselis and other Kemer attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • A nice ancient city ruins by the beach. It has a nice beach area and some ancient ruins along the way. Very near to kemer antalya.  more »
  • Don't drive all the way here for the ruin, it's first and foremost a beach. You can see a lot better preserved ruins elsewhere. It's a decent beach though.  more »

  • Good alternative place to chill and relax with your family or friends. I totally recommend it. Entry is available with museum card classic. If you don't have museum card, it is also possible to enter by paying cash. (45 TRY per person) When you enter the area, you will see an ancient city ruins located near the sea. There is an amphitheatre near harbour. It's also possible to visit this place via boat tours from sea side. Tour boats cast anchor near this amazing place. You must wear masks around due to covid 19. Have fun.
  • This awesome historical landmark waiting everyone to visit. You can also come here to enjoy the sea and swimming. We love to swim on the southern beach. Just 1-2 meters of the shore covered with small rocks. the rest is sandy all over. Water is warm so nobody hesitates to dive in.
