  One of many sites along the main Curetes street. The Trajan fountain was built in honor to the Roman Emperor. It had a big pool with many statues around it including his own. Not much left, but it's.....  more »

  Another landmark that does not keep much of its former beauty. You need no more than 10 minutes to see it, take a few photos and read the few information on the panel.  more »

  Kuretler Caddesi’nin kuzeyinde Skolastikia hamamlarının sonundaki yan sokaktan 40 m. sonra yer alan bu yapı, 5,20x11,90 m. ölçüsündeki büyük havuzu üç yanından çeviren iki katlı bir çeşmedir. Alt katta kompozit, üst katta ise Korinth düzenindeki sütun başlıkları kullanılmıştır. Yapının ortadaki bölümünde, suyun havuza aktığı yerde, imparator Trajan’ın çeşmenin iki katı boyunca yükselen büyük heykeli vardı.

  Located 40 m. after the side street at the end of the Skolastia baths to the north of Kuretler Street, this building is a two-storey fountain that turns the large pool measuring 5.20x11.90 m. from three sides. The column heads in the Corinthian layout were used on the lower floor and the column heads on the upper floor. In the middle part of the building, where the water flowed into the pool, was emperor Trajan's large statue rising along twice the fountain.
