Babadag represents one of Turkey's most popular paragliding spots. Boasting spectacular scenery and a summit less than 5km (3.1 mi) from the sea, this alp is revered as a paraglider's dream. Those up to the challenge of jumping off a 1,969 m (6,460 ft) peak can choose from a wide number of tour companies for equipment and advice. Be warned, the drive up the mountain can be challenging and is not suitable for nervous or inexperienced drivers. Bring a warm sweater or jacket, as it can get cool at the summit.     Taxi ride uop is a bit of an adventure but well worth it for the vista, we dined at the restraunt twice, need to be awar that in Sept well at any time with the altitude when the sun goes down unlike.....  more »
