Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum (Turk ve Islam Eserleri Muzesi)
Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum (Turk ve Islam Eserleri Muzesi) showcases Islamic art including textiles, tiles, and ethnographic dioramas, spanning from the 8th to the 20th centuries. Its striking stone building dates back to 1524; over the course of its history it has served as a house, prison, and clothing factory. Here you'll see one of the greatest collections of carpets in the world. Tour the exhibits to find vivid frescoes and mosaics, carved and inlaid wood pieces, and colorful porcelain objects. Learn how Turks have lived from numerous ethnological dioramas, from the time of nomads to the present day. The museum also has an unmatched overlook of the Blue Mosque and its surroundings. It a nice museum that shows you the arts of Turkish and Islam. They have room for each era of Turkish Reign over Anatolia Region, it provides you information about reign and also how it change over the years. Here also you can find some holy relics from Islam era( you must be complete cover, before entering inside this room you will find some cloths to put on yourself) You can use here the Museum Pass

This is a lovely museum in a very nice building. It’s quite specialized and focuses mainly on rugs, pottery/ceramics, books/documents with a few bronzes, sculptures and other artifacts. It wouldn’t be my top choice for a museum visit in Istanbul but it’s a very nice collection, well laid out. There isn’t a lot of information about each object. Unless you are already into Turkish and Islamic art, I may give this one a miss. Although, you can probably see everything in 30-60 minutes.
