  Bit away from main road,you have to find the way from main road and it is a uphill task from Goreme open air museum. The wall painting on this church are still there so if like this kind of stuff...  more »

  This church is closed year round. Only way to get access is to tell the custodian of El Nazar Church nearby that you want to go there and he'll give you the key and directions. It's not easy to find.....  more »

  Нам невероятно повезло. Смотритель церкви святого Назара любезно дал нам ключ от церкви, которая закрыта круглый год, и показал маршрут, таким образом мы оказались внутри среди покрытых фресками стен и сводов. Состояние совершенно особенное: уникальность места и уникальность человеческой доброты, соединённые вместе. Даже зная дорогу, не легко найти эту церковь, она не видна, только небольшая лестница, идущая с вершины скалы указывает на вход. И когда удаётся её отыскать, впечатления самые фееричные!

  We were incredibly lucky. The superintendent of St. Nazar's church kindly gave us the key to the church, which is closed all year round, and showed the route so we found ourselves inside among the frescoed walls and vaults. The state is quite special: the uniqueness of the place and the uniqueness of human kindness, united together. Even knowing the road is not easy to find this church, it is not visible, only a small staircase running from the top of the cliff indicates the entrance. And when you manage to find it, the impressions are the most enchanting!
