Traveling by car from Zermatt to Grindelwald takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Mon) early enough to drive to Bern.

The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.

Traveling by car from Grindelwald to Bern takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 30°C in July, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) to allow time to take a train to Zurich.
