Apollo Bay is a coastal town in southwestern Victoria, Australia. Bring the kids along to Bay of Islands and Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground. Explore Apollo Bay's surroundings by going to Cape Otway Lightstation (in Cape Otway), Warrnambool (Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, Warrnambool Art Gallery, &more) and Otway Fly Treetop Adventures (in Weeaproinah). Set against the stark but scenic coastline of the Bass Strait--the body of water separating Victoria and Tasmania--Torquay is a prime location for surfing and beach life in general.
Start off your visit on the 30th (Mon): admire the sheer force of Erskine Falls and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Lorne Beach. On your second day here, admire all the interesting features of The Great Ocean Road and then stroll through Bells Beach.
