Paro is known for historic sites, museums, and scenic drive. Chandigarh, India to Paro is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, taxi, bus, and car. Traveling from Chandigarh to Paro, you'll lose 0.5 hours due to the time zone difference. In April, plan for daily highs up to 24°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Thimphu.

The kingdom's capital and most modern city, Thimphu offers a mix of ancient traditions and modern commercialism.
Thimphu is known for scenic drive, parks, and museums. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: explore and take pictures at Dochula Pass, see Off-Road Tours, pause for some photo ops at Kuenselphodrang, and examine the collection at Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan.

You can drive from Paro to Thimphu in 1.5 hours. April in Thimphu sees daily highs of 24°C and lows of 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Punakha.

Punakha

The imperial past feels present in Punakha, where an impressive fortress testifies to the heyday of this former capital of Bhutan.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Thu): take in the views from Punakha Suspension Bridge, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Punakha Dzong, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Chimi Lhakhang Temple.
