Located at the estuary of the Brandon River, the historical fishing town of Kinsale nestles against hills that act as a natural shield against the open sea.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kinsale: Cobh (Lusitania Memorial, Titanic Experience Cobh, &more) and Jameson Distillery Midleton (in Midleton). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Charles Fort, play a few rounds at Old Head Golf Links, get engrossed in the history at Kinsale Regional Museum, and don't miss a visit to Ringfinnan Garden of Remembrance.
