Butwal

Gorakhpur, India to Butwal is an approximately 3.5-hour car ride. The time zone difference moving from India Standard Time (IST) to Nepal Time (NPT) is 0.2 hours. You'll set off for Pokhara on the 28th (Sat).

Pokhara, the second largest city in the country, attracts visitors with its superlative natural wonders and easygoing atmosphere.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Sun): explore the activities along Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake), scramble along the landscape with Paddle Nepal - Day Tours, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Barahi temple. On your second day here, Head underground at Gupteswar Gupha, take in the dramatic scenery at Devi's Fall, then see the world from above with a helicopter tour, then get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, and finally don't miss a visit to Pokhara Lakeside.

Traveling by car from Butwal to Pokhara takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In November, daytime highs in Pokhara are 28°C, while nighttime lows are 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Kathmandu.

Traveling from Pokhara in December, expect little chillier with lows of 5°C in Kathmandu. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Thu) so you can travel to Chitwan National Park.

You can do a combination of car and flight from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park in 2.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. Traveling from Kathmandu in December, things will get somewhat warmer in Chitwan National Park: highs are around 27°C and lows about 11°C. You'll set off for Lumbini on the 4th (Fri).

Lumbini

An important place of Buddhist pilgrimage, Lumbini represents the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Fri): don't miss a visit to World Peace Pagoda, delve into the distant past at Kudan Stupa, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Mother Temple of the Graduated Path to Enlightenment.
