Fashion Capital of World

In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Visit Duomo di Milano and Arena di Verona for their historical value. Museum-lovers will get to explore Civico Planetario Ulrico Hoepli and La Triennale di Milano. Get out of town with these interesting Milan side-trips: Orta San Giulio (Sacro Monte di Orta, San Giulio Island, &more), Bergamo (Monastero d'Astino & Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore) and Verona (Basilica di Santa Anastasia & Verona's Cathedral (Duomo)). Next up on the itinerary: take in the spiritual surroundings of Piazza di Santa Maria delle Grazie, 2, take a stroll through Quartiere Ticinese e i Navigli, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza del Duomo, and see the interesting displays at Casa Museo Boschi Di Stefano.
