Varadero is known for beaches, nature, and zoos & aquariums. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: tour the pleasant surroundings at Varadero Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Cayos Blancos, observe the fascinating underwater world at Delfinario, and explore the ancient world of Cueva de Ambrosio.

Getting from Havana to Varadero by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a shuttle; or do a combination of train and taxi. In October, plan for daily highs up to 35°C, and evening lows to 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Havana.
