Calvi is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica.It is the seat of the Canton of Calvi, which contains Calvi and one other commune, Lumio. Get in touch with nature at Plage de Bodri and Aregno Beach. Explore Calvi's surroundings by going to Phare de la Pietra (in Ile Rousse), Plage de Lozari (in Belgodere) and Plage de Ghjunchitu (in Corbara). There's much more to do: explore the ancient world of Village abandonné d'Occi, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and make a trip to Chapelle de Notre Dame de la Serra.

Ljubljana, Slovenia to Calvi is an approximately 9-hour combination of shuttle and flight. You can also fly; or do a combination of car and ferry. Traveling from Ljubljana in September, expect Calvi to be a bit warmer, temps between 30°C and 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue) early enough to drive to Piana.

Start off your visit on the 23rd (Wed): take in the dramatic natural features at Calanques de Piana, get outside with Plage de Ficajola, then identify plant and animal life at Nature Reserve of Scandola, then make a trip to Les Calanche Cliffs, and finally get outside with Capo Rosso. Here are some ideas for day two: take a memorable drive along D81, cruise along Torra d'Omigna, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas.

Traveling by car from Calvi to Piana takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In September, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Bonifacio.

Bonifacio

At the southernmost tip of the island of Corsica, Bonifacio is a city with chalk-white limestone outcrops sculpted into unusual shapes by the ocean.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Sentier Littoral des Bruzzi and La Tonnara Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Le Club de Voile de Bonifacio and Off-Road Tours. There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Plage De Roccapina, take a memorable tour with Tours, explore the different monuments and memorials at Cimetiere Marin de Bonifacio, and take a leisurely stroll along Port de Plaisance de Bonifacio.

You can drive from Piana to Bonifacio in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In September, daily temperatures in Bonifacio can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
