You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Budapest is known for historic sites, spas, and nightlife. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: admire the landmark architecture of Hungarian Parliament Building, pick up some local products at Central Market Hall, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), and appreciate the history behind Shoes on the Danube Bank.

Munich, Germany to Budapest is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In December, plan for daily highs up to 5°C, and evening lows to -1°C. You'll have a few hours on the 3rd (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling to Zagreb.

Zagreb boasts a combination of Austro-Hungarian and Socialist architecture, but it is beloved for its outdoor cafe culture.
Start off your visit on the 3rd (Tue): take a stroll through Upper Town (Gornji Grad). On the 4th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll the grounds of Mirogoj Cemetery, admire the striking features of Cathedral of the Assumption, pause for some photo ops at Ban Josip Jelačić Josip Jelačić spomenik, then enjoy breathtaking views from Zagreb 360, then don't miss a visit to Tkalciceva, and finally get a taste of the local shopping with Ban Josip Jelačić Square.

Bled, Slovenia

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
On the 6th (Fri), contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bled. On the 7th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the views from Triple Bridge and then wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town.
