Bakewell

Bakewell is a small market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England, well known for the local confection Bakewell pudding. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bakewell: Chestnut Centre Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park (in Chapel-en-le-Frith), Mam Tor (in Hope) and Ridge Walk Mam Tor to Losehill (in Castleton). There's much more to do: take in the exciting artwork at Chatsworth House, contemplate the waterfront views at Ladybower Reservoir, step into the grandiose world of Castleton Walk, and Head underground at Poole's Cavern & Buxton Country Park.
