A fairly nondescript town, Ninh Binh acts as a base for explorations of the province of the same name, with the karst landscape and lush valleys that surround the town offering a wealth of scenic vistas of rice paddies and rugged rocks.
Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda and Keo Pagoda for their historical value. Step out of the city life by going to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Trang An Grottoes. Change things up with a short trip to Quat Lam Beach in Nam Dinh (about 1h 25 min away). On the 10th (Tue), hike the day away at Cuc Phuong National Park.
