You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kongsberg: Rjukan (Rjukanbadet, Hardangervidda Nasjonalparksenter, &more), Eidsfoss (Eidsfoss Postkontormuseum, Eidsfoss Hovedgard, &more) and Kjaerra Fossepark (Waterfall Park) (in Larvik). Spend the 20th (Wed) delving into the displays at The Cobalt Works. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 27th (Wed) at Boe Sommarland. There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Norwegian Mining Museum, tour the pleasant surroundings at Kongsberg Skisenter, pause for some serene contemplation at Heddal Stave Church, and admire the masterpieces at The Lagdal Folk Museum.
