Hasselt

— 59 nights
Hasselt is a Belgian city and municipality, and capital of the province of Limburg. Citadelle (Citadel) and Town Hall (Stadhuis) will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Genever Museum Hasselt and Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Hasselt: Maasmechelen (Mechelse Heide, Maasmechelen Village, &more), Falaen (Les ruines du Chateau Fort de Montaigle & Les Draisines De La Molignée) and Maison du Patrimoine - Hastiere (in Hastiere-Lavaux). Fill the 18th (Wed) with excitement at Bobbejaanland. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 24th (Thu) at Zilvermeer. There's still lots to do: Head underground at Domaine Des Grottes De Han, admire the natural beauty at Japanese Tuin, wander the streets of Old Town of Durbuy, and take in the exciting artwork at Travel Gallery.

For photos, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Hasselt planner.
