Set against the stark but scenic coastline of the Bass Strait--the body of water separating Victoria and Tasmania--Torquay is a prime location for surfing and beach life in general.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Australian National Surfing Museum and Australian Skydive. Visiting Point Addis Marine National Park and Live Wire Park will get you outdoors. Take a break from Torquay with a short trip to Sheoak Falls in Lorne, about 52 minutes away.
