6 days in Finestrat & Benidorm Itinerary

On the 30th (Thu), pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion, admire the landmark architecture of Iglesia de El Salvador, steep yourself in history at Circulo Industrial, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ermita de Nuestra Senora del Perpetuo Socorro, and finally see the interesting displays at Museo de Saleros y Pimenteros de Guadalest. Alicante to Finestrat is an approximately 1-hour car ride. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in May, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Benidorm.

A major seaside resort on the famous Costa Blanca, Benidorm was built compactly, thanks to the foresight of a local government administrator in the 1960s, who had a vision for a holiday destination that would grow upwards.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Parasailing & Paragliding and Promenade of Calpe. Visiting Buceo Cabo la Nao and Scuba & Snorkeling will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Benidorm: Alicante (Plaza de la Montaneta & Basilica Santa Maria), Waterskiing & Jetskiing (in Denia) and Cabo San Antonio (in Javea). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Playa de Levante, tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Mal Pas, hike along Clot de Galvany, and make a trip to Plaza Cardenal Belluga.
