The Port of the Moon

With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.
Kids will enjoy Musee d'Aquitaine and Cordouan Lighthouse Phare de Cordouan. Take a break from the city and head to Grottes du Regulus et des Fontaines and La Grande Cote. Explore Bordeaux's surroundings by going to Réserve Ornithologique du Teich (in Le Teich), Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte (in Martillac) and Saint-Emilion (Chateau Ambe Tour Pourret, Chateau Laniote, &more).
