Outback Capital of the Northern Territory

The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
When in Darwin, make a side trip to see Territory Wildlife Park in Berry Springs, approximately Berry Springs away. Spend the 5th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, take an in-depth tour of RFDS Darwin Tourist Facility, get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour, and stroll through Crocosaurus Cove.

Perth to Darwin is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) to Australian Central Standard Time (ACST), which is usually a 1.5 hour difference. In November, Darwin is a bit warmer than Perth - with highs of 39°C and lows of 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) so you can fly to Perth.

A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Explore Perth's surroundings by going to Rockingham (Penguin Island, Rockingham Beach, &more), Fremantle (Little Creatures, Fremantle Prison, &more) and Herne Hill (Talijancich Wines & Mondo Nougat).
