Torquay

— 3 nights
Set against the stark but scenic coastline of the Bass Strait--the body of water separating Victoria and Tasmania--Torquay is a prime location for surfing and beach life in general.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Point Lonsdale Beach and Torquay Front Beach. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Torquay Foreshore Play Park and Australian National Surfing Museum. When in Torquay, make a side trip to see Point Lonsdale Lighthouse in Point Lonsdale, approximately Point Lonsdale away. Spend the 14th (Sun) exploring nature at Point Addis Marine National Park. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at 13th Beach, stroll through Point Roadknight, explore the galleries of Surfcoastimages Gallery, and look for all kinds of wild species at Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary.

To find traveler tips, where to stay, reviews, and more tourist information, read Torquay tour itinerary maker website.

In February, daytime highs in Torquay are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 17°C.
