Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.Bring the kids along to The Matterhorn and Gornergrat. Step out of Zermatt with an excursion to Gommer Hohenweg in Bellwald--about 1h 15 min away. There's still lots to do: take in the pleasant sights at Hinterdorfstrasse, don't miss a visit to Mountaineers' Cemetery, explore the activities along Stellisee, and take in the awesome beauty at Breithorn.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Zermatt is an approximately 12.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also drive; or do a combination of ferry and car. The time zone difference when traveling from Jeddah to Zermatt is minus 2 hours. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Mon) early enough to drive to Lucerne.

In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Lake Zurich and Lake Lucerne. Venture out of the city with trips to Titlis (in Engelberg), Festung Vitznau (in Vitznau) and Zurich (Hauptbahnhof, Zurich Succulent Plant Collection, &more). And it doesn't end there: look for all kinds of wild species at Mt Pilatus, pause for some photo ops at Lion Monument, admire the sheer force of Reichenbach Falls, and take in breathtaking views at Aare Gorge.

Glacier Village
As one of the country's oldest ski resorts, Grindewald serves as a prime example of a cozy Swiss ski town.Step out of Grindelwald to go to Wengen and see Wengen Mannlichen Aerial Cableway, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. There's much more to do: take in the awesome beauty at Jungfraujoch, admire the sheer force of Lauterbrunnen Village, hit the slopes at Grindelwald-First, and hike along The Eiger.

The capital and political center of Switzerland, Bern sits on a peninsula formed by the U-shaped River Aare.Family-friendly places like Parasailing & Paragliding and UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern will thrill your kids. Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.Bring the kids along to Lake Geneva and Palais des Nations, Genève. Get out of town with these interesting Geneva side-trips: Lausanne (Musee Cantonal d'Archeologie et d'Histoire, The Olympic Museum Lausanne (Musee Olympique), &more). There's still lots to do: admire the local landmark of The Geneva Water Fountain, appreciate the history behind Reformation Wall (Mur de la Reformation), don't miss a visit to The Flower Clock, and examine the collection at Patek Philippe Museum.
