3 days in Luneburg & Bremen Itinerary

Lüneburg, also called Lunenburg in English, is a town in the German state of Lower Saxony. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Fri): let the kids burn off some steam at Bohme Familienpark, then engage your brain at Felto, then identify plant and animal life at Wildpark Lueneburger Heide, and finally get great views at Luneburg Water Tower. Bremen to Luneburg is an approximately 1.5-hour train ride. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. In October, plan for daily highs up to 16°C, and evening lows to 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Bremen.
