Paris of the Tropics

It's hard not to get excited when planning a trip to Manaus, capital of the state of Amazonas, and the largest city on the mighty Amazon River.
Popular historic sites such as Museu do Seringal Vila Paraiso and Church of Sao Sebastiao e Sao Francisco de Assis are in your itinerary. Step out of the city life by going to Meeting of Waters and Amazon Rainforest. Change things up with a short trip to Ruinas de Paricatuba in Iranduba (about 58 minutes away). Spend the 24th (Sun) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. The adventure continues: stroll through Ponta Negra Beach, get engrossed in the history at Palacio da Justica, don't miss a visit to Espaco Cultural Largo de Sao Sebastiao, and pause for some serene contemplation at Paroquia Nossa Senhora de Fatima.
