Princeville is a 9,000acre, upscale, unincorporated, master-planned community of vacation homes and condos on the north shore of the island of Kauai in Kauai County, Hawaii. Wai`oli Hui`ia Church and Christ Memorial Episcopal Church are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step off the beaten path and head to Na Pali Coast State Park and Hanalei Beach. Take a break from Princeville with a short trip to Ke'e Beach in Haena, about 32 minutes away. The adventure continues: take in the dramatic scenery at Hanakapiai Falls, identify plant and animal life at Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, hike along Kalalau Trail, and kick back and relax at Pali Ke Kua Beach (Hideaway s Beach).

Noted for its low-key beaches, Kapaa is a small town with a high concentration of tourist-oriented hotels, shops, bars, and restaurants.
Head to Aloha Spice Company and Original Red Dirt Shirtsfor plenty of shopping. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Wailua Falls and Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail. Explore Kapaa's surroundings by going to Scuba & Snorkeling (in Koloa), Kauai Coffee Company (in Kalaheo) and Spouting Horn (in Poipu). There's still lots to do: trek along Sleeping Giant Trail, kick back and relax at Lae Nani Beach, shop like a local with Tabora Gallery, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Kalapaki Beach.

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park and National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Visit USS Arizona Memorial and USS Utah Memorial for their historical value. Change things up with a short trip to Byodo-In Temple in Kaneohe (about 32 minutes away). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, hike along Koko Crater Railway Trail, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and admire the verdant scenery at Nu’uanu Pali.

Step out of the city life by going to Kapalua Beach and Kapalua Coastal Trail. We've included these beaches for you: Kamaole Beach Park III and Keawakapu Beach.
