Spend time in one of Europe's oldest cities, the vibrant Bulgarian capital of Sofia.
Head to Vitosha Boulevard and Central Market Hall (Tsentralni Hali)for plenty of shopping. Get some cultural insight at Rila Monastery and Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church. Get out of town with these interesting Sofia side-trips: Rila National Park (in Rila) and Borovets Ski Resort (in Borovets).
