Formerly a sleepy fishing village, the beach resort town of Kuta now represents one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
Visiting Kuta Beach - Bali and Jimbaran Bay will get you outdoors. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Beachwalk Shopping Center and Jimbaran Fishmarket. When in Kuta, make a side trip to see Uluwatu Temple in Pecatu, approximately Pecatu away. There's still lots to do: make a splash at Waterbom Bali, buy something for everyone on your list at Discovery Shopping Mall, kick back and relax at Nusa Dua Beach, and visit Kuta Square.

A popular resort town offering a good range of tourist trips, activities, and amenities, Seminyak houses numerous tour companies providing excursions into the jungles of Bali.
Escape the urban bustle at Seminyak Beach and Legian Beach. For shopping fun, head to Jalan Legian or Bagus Watch. Change things up with a short trip to Tanah Lot Temple in Beraban (about 40 minutes away). There's lots more to do: soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, enjoy the sand and surf at Double Six Beach, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Pantai Batu Mejan (Echo Beach).
