Fort-de-France

— 21 nights
The political capital of Martinique, Fort-de-France has a thriving commercial center and a number of historic sites.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like St. Louis Cathedral and Canal De Beauregard (Canal des esclaves). You'll find plenty of places to visit near Fort-de-France: Le Morne Gommier (in Le Marin), Sainte-Anne (Scuba & Snorkeling, Etang des Salines, &more) and Le Carbet (Martinique Jet Team Sport & Point de Vue de l'Anse Marigot). Spend the 25th (Mon) exploring nature at Parc Naturel Regional de la Martinique. There's still lots to do: brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Distillerie la Favorite, kick back and relax at Petit Anse, tour in harmony with nature at Madisail, and take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

For ratings, traveler tips, other places to visit, and other tourist information, refer to the Fort-de-France sightseeing planner.

If you are flying in from Armenia, the closest major aiport is Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport. March in Fort-de-France sees daily highs of 34°C and lows of 26°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
