The commercial center of eastern Paraguay, busy Ciudad Del Este serves primarily as a shopping destination for Argentines and Brazilians.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo de la Tierra Guarani and Museo El Mensu. Next up on the itinerary: make a trip to PRESA DE ITAIPU, pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de San Blas, browse the different shops at shopping terra nova, and admire the sheer force of Saltos del Monday.

Encarnacion offers a good selection of cultural and natural attractions.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at La Santisima Trinidad De Parana and Costanera de la Ciudad de Encarnacion Paraguay. Change things up with a short trip to Mision Jesuita de San Cosme y San Damian in San Cosme y Damian (about 1h 30 min away). Spend the 1st (Fri) exploring nature at National Park Cordillera San Rafael. There's lots more to do: explore the ancient world of Ruinas de Jesús, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Parroquia Catedral Nuestra Senora, make a trip to Plaza de Armas, and enjoy the sand and surf at San Jose Beach.

You will leave for Caraguatay on the 3rd (Sun).
