Rocamadour is only accessible by one road leading into the port town built on the face of a cliff with a large number of buildings cantilevered over the edge.
Get out of town with these interesting Rocamadour side-trips: Speleologie en Quercy (in Cras), La Cascade d'Autoire (in Autoire) and Grotte du Pech-Merle (in Cabrerets). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Cite Religieuse, don't miss a visit to Moulin Fortifie de Cougnaguet, Head underground at Gouffre de Padirac, and explore the historical opulence of Remparts du Chateau.
