Surfing remains the main reason to take a trip to Tamarindo, as the beachside town is mostly known for its excellent waves.
You'll get in some beach time at Playa Hermosa and Tamarindo Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Adrenaline & Extreme Tours and Off-Road Tours.
