Capital of Pop Music

Famous for being the birthplace of the Beatles, Liverpool is a vibrant city with an outstanding cultural heritage.
National Railway Museum and Museum of Liverpool will appeal to museum buffs. Escape the urban bustle at Snowdon and Stockley Farm Birds of Prey Centre. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Liverpool: SMJ Falconry (in Oxenhope), Beaumaris (Seacoast Safaris & Beaumaris Castle) and Turbary Woods Owl and Bird of Prey Sanctuary (in Preston). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at The Beatles Story, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King Liverpool, learn more about the world around you at World Museum, and stroll the grounds of Liverpool Cathedral.
