Spend the 19th (Fri) among the memorable landscape of The 3 Eyes National Park. There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor, explore the galleries of Columbus Lighthouse (Faro A Colon), take in the exciting artwork at Amber Museum, and contemplate the long history of Fortaleza Ozama.

Although out of fashion in the past decades, major revitalization efforts have made a trip to Puerto Plata a growingly popular option for the adventurous travelers.
Step out of Puerto Plata to go to Sosua and see Zipline, which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: laugh and play at Ocean World Adventure Park, Puerto Plata, admire the sheer force of 27 Charcos, tour the pleasant surroundings at Rancho Lorilar, and examine the collection at Dominican Amber Museum.
