Manchester, UK to Billund is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and train; or do a combination of car and ferry. Traveling from Manchester in February, expect Billund to be little chillier, temps between 4°C and -1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) so you can drive to Aarhus.

Located on the sea, Aarhus blends a world city with a small-town feel. Home to a young population, the city has a reputation for producing internationally known pop and rock musicians.

Attractions like Brabrandstien and Moesgaard Museum make great kid-friendly stops. Take a break from the city and head to Moesgard Forrest and Ega Engso. There's lots more to do: see the sky in a new way at Aros Aarhus Kunstmuseum, see the interesting displays at Den Gamle By, play a few rounds at Aarhus Aadal Golf Club, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helligaandskirken.

Store Heddinge is a Danish town in Region Sjælland. Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): look for all kinds of wild species at Holtug Kridtbrud, see the interesting displays at Rodvig Skibsmotormuseum, learn about all things military at Cold War Museum Stevnsfort, then examine the collection at Stevns Klint, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hoejerup Gamle Kirke.
