City of Angels

Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
Venture out of the city with trips to Bergamot Station (in Santa Monica), St.John Vianney Chapel (in Balboa Island) and Anaheim (Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, &more). Pack the 8th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at The Getty Center, look and learn at Griffith Observatory, take in the waterfront at Santa Monica Pier, and admire the masterpieces at Norton Simon Museum.

Bangkok, Thailand to Los Angeles is an approximately 20.5-hour flight. You'll gain 15 hours traveling from Bangkok to Los Angeles due to the time zone difference. When traveling from Bangkok in December, plan for a bit cooler days and cooler nights in Los Angeles: temperatures range from 24°C by day to 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Fri) early enough to travel to Las Vegas.
