In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at I Navigli and Parco Faunistico Le Cornelle. There's still lots to do: step into the grandiose world of Castello Sforzesco, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza del Duomo, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Il Cenacolo.
