Pokhara, the second largest city in the country, attracts visitors with its superlative natural wonders and easygoing atmosphere.
Get some cultural insight at International Mountain Museum and Peace Temple. Visit Bindhya Basini Temple and Barahi temple for their historical value. There's lots more to do: head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, explore the activities along Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake), take in the dramatic scenery at Devi's Fall, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Poon Hill.

Kathmandu to Pokhara is an approximately 2.5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Kathmandu in April, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Pokhara, with lows of 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Fri) early enough to travel to Kathmandu.

Expect little chillier evenings in Kathmandu when traveling from Pokhara in April, with lows around 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
