Change things up with these side-trips from Lahaina: Helicopter Tours (in Kahului), Wailea (Wailea Beach & Keawakapu Beach) and Wailuku (Hale Ho'ike'ike at the Bailey House, Iao Valley, &more). Pocatello to Lahaina is an approximately 13.5-hour combination of flight and car. The time zone difference when traveling from Pocatello to Lahaina is minus 3 hours. You can drive from Lahaina to Hana in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car; or fly. September in Hana sees daily highs of 90°F and lows of 72°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
