Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital, effortlessly combines small-town charm with heaps of big city energy.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Reykjavik: Thermal Spas (in Grindavik), Keflavik (Viking World & Keflavik Maritime Center) and Thingvellir National Park (in Thingvellir). Spend the 16th (Wed) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hallgrimskirkja, see the interesting displays at Volcano House, don't miss a visit to Perlan, and let your taste buds guide you at a local gastronomic tour.

Hyderabad, India to Reykjavik is an approximately 20.5-hour flight. You'll gain 5.5 hours traveling from Hyderabad to Reykjavik due to the time zone difference. In February, Reykjavik is cooler than Hyderabad - with highs of 3°C and lows of -1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Vik.

Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Thu): admire all the interesting features of Dyrhólaey, admire the sheer force of Skogafoss, and then explore the striking landscape at Sólheimajökulll. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Black Sand Beach, then kick back and relax at Reynisfjara Beach, then explore the striking landscape at Reynisdrangar, and finally contemplate the geological forces at Icelandic Lava Show.

Getting from Reykjavik to Vik by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus. Traveling from Reykjavik in February, expect a bit warmer with lows of 1°C in Vik. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Geysir.
