Tórshavn is the capital and largest town of the Faroe Islands. Museum-lovers will appreciate Vestmanna Saga Museum and National Museum of the Faroe Islands. Your inner history buff will appreciate Sandavagur Church and Vesturkirkjan Church. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Torshavn: Vestmanna Bird Cliffs (in Vestmanna), Nolsoyar Viti (in Nolsoy) and Trollkonufingur (in Sandavagur). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Mariukirkjan, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hoyvikar Kirkja, admire the masterpieces at Listasavn Foroya, and see what you can catch with Nordlysid.

On the 12th (Wed), contemplate the long history of Museum Husid uttan Anna, appreciate the extensive heritage of Asmundarstakkur, then hike along Hvannhagi, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Famjin church.
