10 days in Sauraha & Kathmandu Itinerary

The tourist town of Sauraha stands on the edge of the Chitwan National Park and acts as the eastern gateway to a World Heritage-protected area.

Kathmandu to Sauraha is an approximately 2.5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also take a bus; or drive. Traveling from Kathmandu in May, things will get a bit warmer in Sauraha: highs are around 95°F and lows about 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Thu) so you can travel to Kathmandu.
