Nafplio, a city famed for its narrow lanes and elegant architecture, provides a comfortable base for exploring the many surrounding ancient sites.
Get a sense of the local culture at Fortress Palamidi and Archea Korinthos. Popular historic sites such as Archaeological Site Mycenae and Sanctuary of Asklepios are in your itinerary. Step out of Nafplio to go to Corinth and see Temple of Apollo, which is approximately 46 minutes away. There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of Ayios Georgios, steep yourself in history at Lion Gate, and take a leisurely stroll along Nauplion Promenade.

Gialova

Gialova is a village on Navarino Bay in the municipality of Pylos-Nestor in the regional unit of Messenia in the south-west Peloponnese, Greece, about six kilometres north of Pylos.
