Venice of the North

Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Amsterdam: The Hague (The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery & Prison Gate Museum), Delft (Museum Prinsenhof Delft & The Hidden House of Madame de Berry) and Frans Hals Museum (in Haarlem). As the country's biggest port and one of the busiest in all of Europe, Hamburg has a well-deserved reputation as Germany's Gateway to the World.
Hamburg is known for museums, historic sites, and nightlife. You can fly from Amsterdam to Hamburg in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of car and train. When traveling from Amsterdam in January, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Hamburg: temperatures range from 3°C by day to 0°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Wed) so you can drive to Bremen.

Short-Way City

A rather long and narrow city spread along both sides of the Weser River, Bremen has more than a thousand years of history.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Thu): make a trip to Schnoor Viertel, make a trip to Bottcherstrasse, get a sense of history and politics at Bremer Rathaus, then make a trip to Marktplatz, and finally admire the masterpieces at Museen Boettcherstrasse. On the next day, soothe aching muscles at Red Bear CrossFit, take in the waterfront at Weserkraftwerk Bremen, see the interesting displays at Focke-Museum, then take in the exciting artwork at Phil Porter Salon Obscura, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Historische Altstadt.
