In a city with a varied reputation for items to ingest by smoking, PGC Hajenius is the leader in tobacco consumption. It is a beautiful store in the thick of the tourist area. I have had the pleasure of visiting it at least twelve times. It is over 100 years in its present location, and the leader of the Amsterdam cigar scene. Visit this store. It is well worth the effort

The rating is for the “Lounge” part of the shop I wouldn’t call it a lounge , it’s rather a place to set down, there is no service inside (Self service with Nespresso coffee !!!) The place is under staffed Cigar selection looks decent The staff attitude: there were two of them one was respectful and attentive and the other was quite the opposite, he was rude and doesn’t speaks good English. another down side is that they close early 5:45 pm Bottom line: I don’t recommend this place unless you will be a cigar only .
