  • Wat Suwan Kuha is a cave temple with a reclining golden buddha in Phang Nga. Due to the pandemic, the place is very quiet and not one monkey was around due to no tourists to feed them.  more »

  • We passed The Coffee Club, mistakenly believing it was just a coffee house. It actually is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as coffee and snacks. The menu is extensive and staff totally cater to your needs. There were a couple of vegetarians in our group and the chefs were able to adapt dishes to suit veggie requirements. The Vegan burger and sweet potato fries, shrimp and prawn pasta, salmon steak and a beautiful mixed veg salad were so delicious. We shall definitely visit again to taste a breakfast/lunch menu. Highly recommend this place. Serving staff are also so kind and friendly.
  • This place is mainly a cave that has been converted into a temple, featuring a large reclining Buddha statue. Outside the cave is an area where free-roaming monkeys may be encouraged and where feeding is permitted. Beside the main cave is a smaller, darker cave where a fair number of bats can be found relaxing. Be aware that as of 2019-12-28, this place charges foreigners a 20 Baht admission fee, but no fee to Thai people. This racial discrimination, while mild, is the main reason why I'm not giving this place a full score.
